Re: Ford Mondeo Duratec V6

The original megasquirt board has a DB37 connector. The adaptor board fits in an EEC-V case and gets the connector from the EEC on the one side, and a DB37 on the other side. It also has a prototype area and some simpler circuits, for example some output and input drivers. But as said... it isn't av...

Re: Ford Mondeo Duratec V6

after my second 2.5l blew the head gasket of the rear bank I also switched to a ST220 engine, but including complete upper und lower manifold. The ST200 has the PATS completely integrated into the EEC-V. So your complete PATS (vehicle immobiliser) will be lost. On the older 2.5 (like my '97) there w...

No, I'm driving the injectors with the MS for a long time now. The Omegas was just the first step, as I already had converted my engine using them and the stock ECU. So I just left them in and it worked, but of course not as good to set up as with the MS directly. I'm using a largely modified MS2Ext...

I used factory setting, so 6950. My MSQ wont help you, as I'm using a modified firmware to drive my car with those three fuels. I can send you the petrol table which you can import into your msq, but I'll need about 1 or 2 month to tune that table, right now I've only tuned CNG and LPG (no one drive...

No new cables necessary, I'm using the EEC-V-Adapter by MegaScott. I've connected an EDIS to it internally, but you can also use the MS directly to control ignition, all needed signals are there. I left the secondaries in, as they're a great improvement in the lower revs. Tried it with all time open...

Forgot to update. The MS is controlling all 3 fuels natively for a long time already (running since December 2006). Works really good, but still have difficulties with my two LC-1 controllers. Most of the time they refuse to operate and throw error codes, especially if I go to higher loads (more tha...
