One of the main reasons I kept the stock electronic ignition was because of the fact that it is odd-fire. For my application (using plain vanilla fuel-only control) there was no need to run a crank trigger or hall-effect sensor of any kind. I am getting the signal to fire the injectors directly from...

Mike- The DeLorean originally used Bosch K-Jetronic mechanical fuel injection. In my case, this meant that I did not have to drill out holes or weld in bungs for the fuel injectors to fit into, since coincidentally the holes in my heads were a perfect fit. However, this is where the easy part ended....

Yep, I definitely still have the DeLorean! I have put thousands of miles on the MS EFI and have been very happy with it. I would NEVER go back to mechanical fuel injection (or carburetors) on engines again. The only thing that I never really bothered to finalize was the cold weather starting. I am r...

I have now put about 1500 miles on my car with MS, including a 1,000 mile round trip from AZ to CA and back to AZ. At first I was concerned about taking my car on such a long trip, but afterward I realized that I had nothing to worry about and MS did whatever I wanted it to do. Even though I built a...

I now am getting more and more comfortable with the tuning process. I am still running rich though (about 9:1 AFR). I took it out the other day on the freeway for the first time and got it up to about 90 MPH (the speed limit was 75). It ran great! I also got some good datalogs for the first time. At...

Hi Eric, Right now I have quite a few pictures, but they are all "work in progress" pics. I am hoping that once I make my last bracket, finalize the air duct routing (it's a tight engine bay - in the rear of the car), and clean it up a bit that I will post some links to photos. You know wh...

So far today I had it running for a total of about 25 minutes and it's getting better and better. Being able to adjust fuel in "real-time" is incredible! You can actually hear the engine running differently when you adjust something!! I have a lot more tuning to do with the laptop! However...
