Hi folks, Getting ready to mega squirt my 67 volvo 122. Its got a B18 with a fuel injected head.
I'm using the stock D jet intake, and I made a fuel rail.
I'm in the process of building my wire harness, and I'm at the fast idle portion now. So in the megasquirt maual it says to wire in an aux. air valve.
But on the D jet system it has an air valve bolted directly to the head and is tapped into the coolant water jacket. It opens and closes depending on coolant temp. Can I use the stock air valve and skip wiring in an aux. air valve.
will the on board map sensor know when my air valve is opening and richen the mixture without any wires hooked up to any valve.
