Mitsu 6G72TT

Post by Rivet »

We have a Mistsu 6G72TT from a JDM GTO on a dyno run stand. I finnaly got the thing to run. We are running an MS-II and Ford EDIS (firing the stock coils) with a 36-1 crank trigger. I still have to plumb the engine cooling system and water supply for our dyno, but it runs. Once we get the cooling system up and running, it will be time to tune!

The project is for a grant we have with the local school district. In the fall we plan to take the unit to the local high schools (it is completely portable) and let the students have a go at programing the unit. We'll then evaluate their "tunes" for power, fuel economy, and emissions.

I'll post some pic's later on.
