Vehicle: 1996 Mitsubishi FTO GR
Engine: 2.5L V6 from a Mitsubishi Legnum VR4 (6A13TT)
Injection/Spark: Controlled using MSnS-e 029v on V2.2 board. Used all original sensors, injectors, coils etc, other than having to fit IAT sensor (used GM). I made up a 6-1 trigger wheel using a laser cut profile. Original application uses both crank and cam position signals. Original wasted spark coils used (Required 12v signal to trigger)
Description: This car is intended as a gravel rally car with hopefully borderline too much power for a FWD. The 6A13TT is nearly a straight bolt in. Custom exhaust and inlet piping required, but worth the effort. Currently not running an intercooler.
Very happy with how the project has shaped up so far. With good-to-rich AFR's and a flat 21deg timing on boost (not optimal, but safe) this car has proven to be a nice combination, with a controllable, flat torque curve. Will learn to drive it well now before reaching for more power. Will red line top gear, (original FTO 'box) so more than fast enough for gravel.
