94 Kawasaki Vulcan 500 (EN-500) Same engine as (EX-500)

I am fuel injecting a 1994 Kawasaki Vulcan 500. It's a 500CC parallel twin. I am trying to find a suitable pair of throttle bodies. I am thinking the Kawasaki Ninja 650R might be a good candidate. Although I fear the 38mm throttle body may be too big considering the stock carbs are 34mm and on the newer EN500's they have 32mm carbs.

I plan to play with a set of throttle bodies from a R6 on my 1982 CB450sc, which also has 34mm CV carbs. I'll let you know how it goes.

I found several twin throttle bodies for Ninja 650's on eBay. I don't know if the 500 is the exact same manifold dimensions, but it would not shock me at all if they were.

I'm using mine for a VW trike. The twin TB is spaced identically to popular Weber/Delorto carburetors and they will attach to a common aftermarket manifold with only a simple adapter plate.
