Nissan 360 CAS

Post by Charles »

Hi. I'm in the process of putting together all of the items that will be required to convert my 4.2 L, 6 cylinder engine (TB42)from carburatted to EFI. It will eventually be running dual fuel, ie switchable between petrol(gas) and LPG, and be turbocharged. The MS2 is being set up to handle ignition mapping.
I have purchased a Nissan EFI inlet manifold, injectors & distributor, fitted with the 360/6 CSA disc and have been advised by the ECU builder that I should change the disc as the MS2 will most likely fail to recognise the signal.
Can anyone advise their experience in this.

Since submitting this I have checked on the DIY Autotune FAQ's & found an article relating to Nissan 360 CAS.

Advice re experience with this still would be appreciated

Hi Charles,
Yes you do need to change the disc,
I have had a batch laser cut to suit the Nissan CAS.
$50 will cover the disc and shipping

Cheers

MS3 supports the 360 CAS natively. To use MS2, you will have to change the trigger disc. I purchased an SR20 disc from DIYAutotune and modified it to fit the RB CAS.
