Built couple a years ago a "plug-in" MS-ecu for my cossie. A direct replacement of the IAW Marelli ( uses original sensors ), so need not even open the bonnet to install MS to any cossie.

Original motor, never opened and driven excess of 200 000 km, original turbo with uprated wastegate actuator, large IC, 440 cc injectors, ported inlet manifold & throttle body, uprated ignition coil, wide band lambda and 2,5" free flow exhaust.

MS options used:
- fuel, closed loop w WB lambda
- ignition, through dizzy
- boost control
- fan control
- shift lights
- launch control & flat shift

just what I'm trying to do with my engine. I assume you have made a short harness to link the stock cosworth harness to the MS or have you mounted the MS inside a cosworth ecu box?

one point for others wanting to do this is that earlier 2wd cosworths had a switch incoporated into the throttle pot which means that the wiper is open circuit at closed throttle. i found however that opening up the throttle pot case allows access to a a screw that can be adjusted to make the wiper of the pot always in contact thus removing the switch part from the circuit. also, the 2wd throttle pots are wired the other way around to the later 4wd throttle pots so the two outer wires require reversing.

Actually I made my own PCB. That time the MS was not supporting the Marelli IAW sensors so I had to fabricate some logic to filter out the extra notches in the cam sensor. Also was a bit easier to use the original semiconductor cooling locations for the driver-fets and add all the extra options on one board.

The case was originally some old Fiat marea something I bought from eBay for 12 euros, but I only used the mechanics.
