I'm building a '62 Falcon with a 331 scat kit in a 5.0 block as well. I'll be curious as to how you tackle the crank trigger as I assume you're also stuck with a 28oz imbalance to work with.

I do have EDIS on this car now. It's been there a while. I built a custom coil bracket that sits just above where the distributor would be. I run a billet aluminum crank pulley with a spacer between the balancer and the pulley. I mounted the spacer on a lathe and turned it down enough to sandwich a steel toothed wheel in between. I then fabricated a bracket to mound the sensor. I'll try to get some photos posted soon.

I'm in the process of converting to MS3x. I'll be pulling the right side fender and rerouting the cable. I've never like the look of the exposed wire bundle.
