Engine: Ford V8 5.7L 4V. I successfully MS'd a Ford V8 "4V" 5.7L motor and started it last night. Motor is mounted on stand for experimental purposes and will soon be fitted into Ford Escourt Mk1 for drag racing. One big turbo was fitted, comp. ratio lowered.
Injection: 8x 330cc/min injectors were made to fit into standard intake, near valves. Carb was replaced by 60mm throttle body. Injectors are 2.8ohms each, so I wired each bank's 4 injectors in series, driving each bank per MS channel. After some tuning, setting worked out like this: (motor hot)
Req. fuel= 22.4ms
Inj./engine cycle= 2
Staging= Alternating
PWM Current= 30%
PWM Threshold= 25.5ms
Fuel pressure is 2.5Bar for now.
Description: Motor runs nicely, but without boost (motor not loaded yet). Injectors are bit small, but should handle power up to 0.5Bar boost. Expecting 600Hp & 800Nm with proper injectors and 1.2Bar boost.
