Just adding my success story to the findings of others for the purpose of helping the community.
My vehicle is a 1991 Dodge Spirit R/T that I bought as a roller. IE. no intercooled 2.2L 16v Lotus turbo toys
Anyhow it is now sporting a 3.0L Chrysler V6 and an A543 manual transmission and is now running on MS2Extra 2.1.0. Sleeper FTW!!
For more info on my car and many others like it check out this page on Turbo-Mopar.com - http://www.turbo-mopar.com/forums/showt ... hp?t=35628
MS2Extra code vs. 2.1.0 w/ Launch control/Flatshift enabled.
Ported/Polished intake manifold opened up for a Jeep 60mm TB.
Custom reground Crower camshafts (reground for turbo, but make great N/A power too )
Custom underdrive crank pulley.
Fidanza Aluminum Flywheel and stock clutch/upgraded PP
MSD Blaster2 Coil w/ Aurora 10mm wires and NGK copper plugs
Solid motor mounts and bobble strut.
Full 3" exhaust system with high-flow cat and magnaflow
Innovate LC-1 wideband system
Estimated 175 WHP or so.
Has run a best of 15.6 in the 1/4 at 87MPH with a semi-crappy tune and street tires and NO driver mod whatsoever.
Car is amazing on the street, has crazy amounts of torque, sounds awesome, and pulls hard all the way to 7500 RPMs.
Plans for the immediate future are adding a K27 turbocharger which will now be very easy to tune for.
Also working on a new transmission with an OBX limited slip (No more one-tire fires )
Current MSQ attached for other 3.0L enthusiasts
