Are you still running the MSII setup? I'm getting close to turning the key on a 1986 Scirocco 16V with the 1984cc 16V engine, Innovate LC-1 wideband 02 sensor, direct coil control with VB921 coil driver, stock 4-window distributor for hall sensor input, slightly hotter Techtonics cams and a Techtonics stainless 2 1/4" exhaust.
I'm using the msq file you posted as a starting point. Have you done more tuning?
The one thing that I can't get my head around is ignition settings like trigger angle, input capture and spark output.
Hope to hear from you on this; I can't find many people with similar setups.

as soon as i get to 3450rpm I loose everything. I have done logging and racked my brain trying to figure this out. wondering if you have any ideas. i am running 2.0 16v and it runs fine on the CIS-E crap.
