Microsquirt modual in 4age ECU case

Post by bzr se7en »

Hi
Has anyone got info on the install of the new Microsquirt modual inside an OEM 4age 20v ECU case?
And using some of the toyota ecu parts such as the circuitry that reads the Denso dizzy and injector drivers?

I have seen one on the net somewhere, it looked like a tidy install.
Thanks
Patrick

Hey patrick,

Im guessing your referring to my listing.

It took a bit of scope work and a lot of time tracing circuits. A few component values needed to be altered on the microsquirt module.

It is essentially running in parallel with the stock ecu and seems to work very well.

Hi
If it's your listing on Trademe, then yes. Seems you are the only one so far. How much running time has it done on that ECU without relibility issues?
I'd imagine it did take some time tracing circuits on the toyota board.
If I got a modual myself, now that the Kiwi is high. And got you to install later on when I don't need the car, what would it cost?
Thanks
Patrick
