Name: Bob C

Vehicle: 1989 BMW 325i

Engine: 2.5 liter I6 (M20B25)

Injection: Port injection using 19lb/hr inj from M30

Description: TPS from M50 (E36) fit in place of M20 TPS. Stock Bosch CTS, GM IAT, TechEdge WBO2

Fuel only for now. Engine started and idled first try. Tuned on road, then dyno. Used for two days at road racetrack and logged / final tuned. This is beta system for race motor to be built over winter. Very impressed and pleased with system. Thanks to all involved.

What did you come up with on the dyno? This is a pretty stock engine other than for the MS?

Thanks!

Thad,

Motor is stock except M30 injectors and shorty headers, and has +190k miles. I did not dyno before MS, but while tuning on a Mustang dyno, got 161 hp @ 5500; 158 ft-lb@4500 at the rear wheels. New, stock motor spec shows 168hp at the crank. Honestly, I don't believe my dyno numbers.

Car will now out pull similar cars on long straights (that I couldn't pull before), so I think it's got more power than before. Since I didn't dyno before/after, can't quantify improvement.

Cheers,

Bob

Sweet, thanks! Might be even better when you get your spark curve tuned in. . . 8)
