Name: Ryan Coe
Vehicle: 1986 Nissan Stanza Wagon 4WD
Engine: JDM CA18DET 1.8L I4 DOHC Intercooled Turbo (Engine came from a U12 Bluebird SSS)
Injection: 550cc Low-Z Injectors, Walbro 240SX Fuel Pump, Factory Rail & Regulator
Igniton: 36-1 Crank Trigger, Subaru Igniter, Subaru Wasted Spark Coil, MSD Street-Fire Wires
ECM: Microsquirt
Secondary butterflies/Power Valve controlled by ECM
Installed a hood scoop and fan over the intercooler to help keep it cool until I upgrade. Fan is controlled by ECM.

Old Setup
Engine: CA20E 2.0L I4 SOHC
Injection: Factory port injection
Ignition: 36-1 Crank Trigger, Twin wasted spark coils to drive all 8 spark plugs

I'm working on a 85 1/2 nissan pickup 2wd its the d21 upgrading it with a ford edis8 replacing the distrb's a 36:1 wheel and thinking about replacing the twin injector that are on the main throttle body i've ordered the edis8's and i'm wondering if you have any suggestions or tuning ideas

I don't think EDIS8 will work at all for your 4 cylinder. It will fire a coil every 90 crank degrees instead of the 180 degrees that you need for your engine. The stock setup fires both intake and exhaust spark plugs at the same time. I would use a Microsquirt and mirror the two outputs to four coil drivers. I used Subaru igniters and coils that are readily available at the junkyard.
