1995 Nissan Pathfinder

Post by a73camaro »

Engine
***************************************
VG30
SOHC
Everything inside is stock (except for the oil)
36-1 crank gear welded to pulleys
Turbo/Intercooler from ebay
Installed March of 2011

Controller
**************************************
MSI, ver 2.2 board inside factory ECU
MSIExtra code
Fords' wasted spark coil pack for a V6 fired by factory EDIS module

Hooked everything up and did a double check. And it fired up and idled OK on the first try! :yeah!:

I'll update when there is more to add.

Once done tuning I will remove the wires for the wide band controller and install the rest of the covers over the ECU.

The wiring is mostly complete as well as intercooler ducting

I am up to 11 psi boost. I need to add a boost controller and figure out a tach output signal for tach gauge.

I've been thinking about doing this to my Dad's 96 SE Pathfinder, he's tired of the OEM fuel mileage and I know I could get better with Megasquirt and make more power at the same time!
Probably not with a turbo though...

135 degrees IAT seems a little hot, even on my tiny T25 I rarely see over 115... Is your IAT sensor in the manifold?

My IAT sensor is placed before the inlet of the throttle body. I just calibrated the sensor and used EasyTherm to get the measured values. I am getting more realistic values now.

Thank you uploading your project. My project is Datsun 510 with VG33 + MS2 . I wonder if you could tell me who made the 36 to 1 trigger wheel. It looks really good! If you did by yourself, do you have an extra for sale.
TIA
