Name: Daniel Feck
Vehicle: 1990 Mitsubishi Lancer 4wd Wagon
Engine: 3.0L V6 from a Mitsubishi V3000 (6G72)
Injection: Original V3000 MPI controlled by MS v2.2 with MSnS 021u3 firmware.
Description: Started life as an 1800cc Diesel. It goes a bit quicker now. It weighs in at a bit over 1000kgs so has a reasonable weight advantage over late model 4wd rally cars. This project is shaping up to be a test of $/placing. The single most expensive (non-safety) cost has been the MS kit. In total the car has cost less than $3k and has already beaten cars over $30k. Nearly time to install a turbo and aim a bit higher!
MS made the original computer seem backward. The car now has good throttle response (almost like a lighter flywheel has been fitted) and can rev out well past the old rev limit.
