Daniel deVoigt, Hilux carbie 22R to EFI conversion
MS2 V3 PCB
Locked distributer and driving coil directly from the MS
Standard Corona sensors and injectors. just added a GM IAT sensor.
Chopped up the Corona loom to make a MS loom.
Fuel pump is a VL Commodoore Bosch pump.
It has been running for 3 months now with no problems. The injection manifold gave a good increase in low to mid range torque. I would recomend this conversion to anyone with a carbie 22r powered hilux.

Let me know if you have any questions. I have done a few other MS installs as well.
Cheers
Daniel.

I'll be running the PNP with an IAT sensor and a wide band o2. Everything else is stock.
Did you run into any problems starting up?
Thanks
Mitch

If your looking for somewhere to put the IAT sensor, I put where the cold start injector is. You don't need the cold start injector and the whole it leaves it the exact size to be taped to 1/2NPT. Then just use a 1/2NPT to 3/8NPT reducer to fit the IAT sensor.

Did you say you were running the coil off the ecu? How is that hooked up?
Also how did you hook up the idle valve. That's something I'd like to do to mine.
Thanks
Mitch

http://www.msextra.com/doc/ms2extra/MS2 ... .htm#1coil
and here is some info about PWM idle valves.
http://www.msextra.com/doc/ms2extra/MS2 ... .htm#Fidle
The 22r already has a basic idle valve which is located under the throttle body. just replaced it with a PWM style idle valve off an rx7. You could also use one off an E series falcon or any other that can be modified to have hose tails.
Cheers
Daniel.

I cant believe how hard it is to get a 1/2-3/8 NPT fitting, ive had to order it from the USA. even getting the 1/2 NPT tap was a struggle.
Thanks

If I remember corectly my mate just zip tied it to the side on the manifold with the 2 hoses running to the appropriate places.
I didn't realise that stuff was hard to get. I guess I was lucky I had the tap and fittings laying around in the shed.
Where are you located in Australia?
Cheers
Daniel.

The tap wasn't hard to find just the reducer. I live in canberra so i didn't have too many places to look.
Thanks
