'73 914 2.0L - On the road again
Vehicle: 1973 Porsche 914
Engine: 2.0L original stock everything.
Injection: MS-II / V3.0 / Fueling hardware is original factory port injection minus all the bits made redundant by MS-II. (ECU, Vac advance, MPS, throttle switch, etc.)
Description: Using MS-II to control fuel and spark with OE distributor, Bosch blue coil, Pertronix ignitor. Using original temp sensors, and tapped in to original fuel pump and +12V supply wiring. 1.3K pullup resistor on Pertronix gives usable signal to MS-II, and still drives the original tachometer.
Easy decision to go with MS-II when the original MPS failed. $1600 for a new one, if they can be found at all! Building this baby was a great learning experience, and car will be running better than new, I'm sure, once I get thru the tuning exercise. Runs well enough now to be my daily driver - will wring it out on the track during upcoming Porsche Club season.
Will post my .msq and .vex files in the near future…if I'd had these when I started, I could've done the whole job in about 4 weekends!

how did you use MSII to run stock ignition/dizzy?
