VR6 Turbo 12valve on MS2-Extra

My friend has a 2001 VR6 12Valve

Does all of these steps still apply if the Megasquirt ECU is v3.57

1) Added Jumper wire from S12C to JS9 (Per MS2 Hardware assembly notes V3 board)
2) Changed Jumper that was “TSEL to VROUTINV” to “TSEL to VROUT”
3) Retained Crystal, Y1

I think we need to soldier some ignition outs on the board, and remove the module from the coils?
