Vehicle: 1977 Pontiac Trans Am

Engine: 406 ci Pontiac V8 (400 +.030), Extensively ported (by me) 6x heads milled for 9.5:1 compression, Modified Holley Street Dominator intake (heat crossover milled out, machined for press-fit injector bungs, light port job), Crane cam (222/234 duration, 514/543 lift) w/ 1.65 roller rockers, Homemade crank scraper, Hooker headers, 3” X-pipe/2.5” Aerochambers/2.5” Flowmaster tailpipes.

Injection: Port injection, 36 lb/hr injectors, Modified Holley Street Dominator intake manifold (single plane), Converted Holley 750 4-barrel carb for throttle body, Fuel rail stock from Ross Machine, Honda fuel pressure regulator, Ford F150 fuel pump.

Description: 4-speed trans, T-tops, 3.23 posi, battery in trunk, wiper motor relocated under the fender, Viper GTS Blue paint

Other: MSnS-E, fuel only at the moment. Will use fan control and rev limiter.

Here is a short video clip of the engine running. This is with the base fuel map and no tuning. Can't wait until the car is legal to drive! (trivial things like lights, bumpers, plates, & insurance) The sound doesn't do it justice; much better in person.

Nice. I am building a 1971 Firebird with a 406 pontiac engine. Just about the same setup but adding a Paxton supercharger.
