I have a 1.8t motor with GT3076r running on MSextra MS1v3 wasted spark setup on 034 coilpack and wires. Still working out the bugs but it's driveable on 9psi (wastegate spring psi) My bigest issue now is that the BOV is letting loose in 4th and 5th on excelaration... and braking up as a result... i have a few ideas why but have yet to do more tests. The bov is set to almost full hard it's a Greddy type rs... maybe i need a diffrent bov. But she is running :yeah!:

it's running ok feels good most of the time in 1st 2nd and 3rd but it will sometimes brake up.... and it always does it in 4th and 5th if i push the gas more then 1/4 way down.... the wastgate opens durring acceleration. I havn't done to much testing to find out why... the BOV is ok i took that apart and it looks good, checked all hoses and conections.... so i'm not sure? :?

Alright, we've been having some tuning issues with this car as well.

To start...A fellow supplied us with a base map for a 1.8T, we altered our required fuel, the car was hesistant to run. Finally got the car running for the shows.

Got a fairly decent tune on wastegate spring pressure 9psi.

Can't get it to start and run well when cold either, and we also are having some engine kickback on cold starts too.

The idle is almost non-existant. No ISV, and the idle only works 50% of the time, never when cold, and always at or above 1000rpm's. With a ~13.3-13.5 AFR at 1000rpm's it idles quite smoothly, but the AFR will randomly jump up to 14, then 16, then stall out at 18....No clue why. Ideas how we can get this fixed? I'd like an 850rpm idle...

We just started having problems with the BOV/Wastegate opening while under load.

Check the plugs, to see if they are set to the specified gap.

Nice rocco i wish i still had mine to do the swap. I have a 91 gti with an awp. I have a couple questions did you delete all the factory emissions and vacume crap from the engine to run your megasquirt. I ask because i would assume this stuff is not needed any longer. also what transmission are you u using im running the 02j that came with the car and am trying to figure out how to make the speedo work sence the 02j is electronic and the mk2 is cable. thanks

Not sure if this works on the 02j but on the 02A you can use a 90 Corrado G60 or Passat GL speedo cable with that cluster.
